Statement
" I create art at the intersection of tradition and innovation, where artificial intelligence acts as a creative partner, helping to make the invisible visible and the digital more tangible. "
Daniel Deutsch
biography
Daniel's career path combines technology, intuition, and the search for inner presence. Born in Austria, he studied law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and artificial intelligence at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. These two disciplines demand precision and systems thinking, and they now find a new language in his artistic work. After years in technology and research projects, his focus increasingly shifted to the boundaries between the digital and the material: exploring how a machine-generated idea takes shape in wood.
His works have been exhibited in Vienna and beyond, in contrast to and dialogue with traditional craftsmanship as well as in contemporary contexts. Daniel doesn't follow a linear path, but rather a cyclical process of research, failure, and reinvention. For him, each exhibition is less a presentation than part of an ongoing meditation: a space where the dialogue between material, machine, and human becomes visible. His career remains an experiment in flux, driven by the same attitude with which he works: focused, open, and uncompromisingly present.
