Statement
" I was born in Russia and completed my training in stage design, decoration, and scenery in Moscow, where studying painting was a cornerstone of my education. Since 1990, I have lived and worked in Vienna and am rooted in classical oil painting, with a particular focus on the figurative. My subjects are often seemingly mundane portraits or depictions of daily life, which I reduce to their essence. With these surreal compositions, combined with a carefully chosen color palette, I aim to create suspenseful moods. "
