Christian Schumacher’s artistic journey began in childhood, nurtured by playful painting competitions with his grandmother. While his cousin often claimed victory, Christian was never focused on winning—he was already painting from a purely aesthetic perspective. This early exposure laid the foundation for his deep connection to art.

​Years later, at the age of 17, he found himself drawn further into the world of creativity through friends involved in graffiti. One early Saturday morning, a friend embarked on a long journey to visit him, arriving with a canvas, paint, and a bottle of wine. That day marked Christian’s first true encounter with a canvas—an experience that sparked his lifelong passion for art.

Since 2012, Christian has been based in Berlin, fully immersing himself in the city’s vibrant art scene. For the past four years, he has worked as an independent artist, continuously evolving his craft. His talent and dedication led him to sign with S.A.V. Gallery in Los Angeles two years ago—a collaboration that will soon expand to New York as the gallery establishes its presence there in July.
