Tracey Emin: Sex and Solitude - A Landmark Exhibition in Florence

Palazzo Strozzi presents Sex and Solitude, the first major institutional exhibition in Italy dedicated to Tracey Emin, one of the most celebrated and provocative artists of our time. Curated by Arturo Galansino, this deeply personal show features over 60 works, including paintings, neon, embroidery, film and sculpture, exploring themes of intimacy, sexuality and the body.

Emin's raw, confessional approach transforms personal experience into universal emotion, creating a striking dialogue between contemporary vulnerability and Florence’s Renaissance heritage. Many works are shown in Italy for the first time, alongside new, specially commissioned pieces. The exhibition is organized by Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi with the support of Gucci and leading cultural institutions.
