Our artists and galleries ("Sellers") ship artworks worldwide using reputable shipping providers such as DHL, UPS, FedEx, or local postal services. Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated individually for each artwork and displayed on the product page or during the order process. The costs depend on:

Shipping method (standard, express or special shipping)
Note: Certain delicate or oversized artworks may require special packaging or handling, resulting in higher shipping costs. These will be clearly communicated prior to purchase.
Delivery times
Delivery times depend on the seller's location and the buyer's destination:

Austria and within the EU: approx. 7–14 working days

International: approx. 14–30 working days
Custom or personalized artwork may require additional production time, which will be specified in the product description.
Note: Delays may occur due to customs clearance, local holidays, or unforeseen circumstances.
Packaging & Handling
Our artists and shipping partners take great care to securely package each artwork to ensure undamaged delivery. For fragile or high-value pieces, special packaging is used if necessary, and additional shipping insurance is purchased.
Shipping confirmation & tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track your delivery online.
Damage during shipping
Please inspect your artwork immediately upon receipt. If you notice any damage that occurred during transport:

Report the damage within 48 hours of receiving the shipment.

Please include clear photos of the damaged artwork and packaging.
We are coordinating with the shipping provider and the artists to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Returns & Refunds
Initiate return
To initiate a return, please contact us at office@artrethought.com within 14 days of receiving your artwork. Please provide the following information:

Your order number

The name of the artwork

Your reason for return
We will guide you through the return process and provide all necessary information. The buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Condition of the returned works
Artworks must be returned in their original condition (undamaged and unaltered). Please ensure the work is securely packaged to prevent damage during return shipment. We recommend using the original packaging if possible.
Return costs
The costs for return shipment are borne by the buyer, except:

the artwork arrived damaged

there was an error in the delivery
For returns due to damage, please refer to the "Damage During Shipping" section.
Refunds
Once the returned artwork has been received and inspected, we will refund the purchase price to your original payment method.

Refunds are typically processed within 7-10 business days after the return is confirmed.

You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed.
Non-returnable items

Custom-made or personalized artwork is non-returnable unless it arrives damaged or faulty.

International Shipping & Customs
